| Since opening her law office in 2003, Ms. Headley has handled numerous appeals, achieved victory in her first appeal, and obtained many successes for her clients. She is certified as an appellate specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Ms. Headley graduated from Stanford University in 1983 with a political science degree. In 1986, she received her law degree from the University of Missouri. From 1988-2003, Ms. Headley was a judicial research attorney at the Sixth District Court of Appeal in San Jose, California. While at the Sixth District, she worked on civil and criminal appeals, including hundreds of civil appeals covering a wide range of issues. From 1987-1988, Ms. Headley was a litigation associate at Nossaman, Guthner, Knox & Elliott in San Francisco. From 1986-1987, she worked at the Missouri Court of Appeals in Kansas City. From 1982-1983, she worked in Washington D.C. as a legislative correspondent for Senator John C. Danforth. Ms. Headley was born in Kansas City, Missouri. When not practicing law, she enjoys Lake Tahoe's many outdoor opportunities, including skiing, hiking, and sand volleyball. |
